"2021 marks the 11th installment of this annual tradition showcasing artwork from Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport's employees, volunteers, retirees, and their family members. Made possible through support from the National Arts Program, this exhibition gives artists at all skill levels an uninhibited opportunity to exhibit their work and compete for cash prizes.

This year, 100 works of art were submitted, and 25 prizes were awarded between the Professional, Intermediate, Amateur, Teen, and Youth categories. Congratulations to the winners, and thanks to all these talented artists who shared their artwork with their community."

The Arboretum is proud to display the creativity and skill of the professional artists who also act as instructors for Arboretum art classes. A wide variety of mediums including painting, drawing, mixed media, encaustic, fiber and photography will be on view by featured artists.

Faculty Art Exhibit runs from August 21 - September 21, 2017 and features work by teaching artists of all disciplines. Instructors will be present at reception on Thursday, September 14th from 6:00 - 8:00 and will be happy to chat with you about their work and classes. All events are free and open to the public. A solo exhibition of approximately 30 of my recent drawings and paintings will be on display in the Red Concourse Gallery at Hennepin County Medical Center from April 28th through July 14, 2017. An opening reception and drawing demonstration will be held on Friday, May 5th from 12:00 - 2:00. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.

A special celebration will be held on July 9th from 11:00 am - 5:00 pm on the grounds at the Anderson Center. The event will include live music, art making demonstrations, an art exhibition, tours of the 11-acre sculpture garden, food and many other activities.

Six of my paintings will be included in this garden-themed exhibit, which will include painting, photography, multi-media, ceramics, glass and other media.

Several paintings are available for purchase at the event on Saturday, December 5th from 11:00 - 5:00 at the Anderson Center in Red Wing, Minnesota. There will be activities all day including music, poetry, art making demos, open studios, food and beverages, as well as an exhibit/sale of a wide array of art including paintings, drawings, pottery, wood carving, textiles and more. The event promises to be a memorable and enriching experience at the historic estate.
