Airport Art
I made this drawing at the request of a friend who is interested in ancient/pre-Celtic lore of Crones or old women with magical powers. This particular crone is Cailleach Bheare who controls the weather, and is the embodiment of winter. It was -20 degrees when I arrived at the airport that morning which inspired the drawing. Adding a large gray wolf brought the crone story to Minnesota for me.
