Airport Art
I perform on-site drawing demonstrations in public spaces at the airport’s main terminal under the auspices of the Airport Foundation. (2019 - present) I draw quickly, but the more detailed drawings take me longer than a three hour shift. I enjoy meeting travelers who stop to ask me about my drawings and engage in conversations, which is the best part of working at MSP.
I also periodically perform live drawing demonstrations in downtown Minneapolis. Most recently I appeared as a performer with Street Show on Nicollet Mall. The Thursday Farmer & Maker Market is enlived by street show performers and works to revitalize downtown Minneapolis.
I have also performed on Hennepin Avenue with the Hennepin Theater Trust.
